HighTide Festival 2016: Programme Update

We're delighted to announce a series of special events and guests at HighTide Festival 2016, as well as hilarious comedy presented by Soho Theatre. On sale now in addition to the programme announced in March are seven Face to Face events and four comedy acts.

Our seven Face to Face events are:

Alexi Kaye Campbell, Elizabeth McGovern and Ben Miles in conversation
Eleanor Bron in conversation with Terri Paddock
Celia Imrie in conversation with Terri Paddock
Charles Spencer in conversation with Michael Billington
Christopher Hampton in conversation with Kate Mosse
Steven Atkinson and Francesca Clark in conversation with Kate Mosse
War and Peace: Tom Harper

We're delighted to host a series of special events at HighTide Festival 2016 involving local artists and speakers including:

A screening of seminal migrant crisis documentary Fire at Sea, accompanied by a discussion with Anders Lustgarten playwright of 2015 HighTide Festival hit Lampedusa.
A work-in-progress presentation of INK 2016 hit Role Play by Thea Smiley, where Clare Hawes will lead a cast of 9 performers in a production directed by Julia Sowerbutts.
A rehearsed reading of Caroline Wiseman's art history play The Leonardo Question.
A collection of short talks about big ideas - inspired by the presentational format of Rob Drummond's In Fidelity. Think Big Talks featuring Dennis Stevenson on Mental Health, Humphrey Burton on Music, and Greg Mosse on writing.

Our four new comedy acts presented by Soho Theatre are:

Bourgeois and Maurice: How to Save the World Without Really Trying
Pajama Men: 2 Man 3 Musketeers
Spencer Jones is The Herbert in 'Eggy Bagel'
Nish Kumar: Actions Speak Louder than Words Unless You Shout the Words Real Loud
