HighTide Festival this year will be taking place over a number of venues in Aldeburgh. Below is some information on each venues we're proud to be presenting events in during this year's Festival.
Festival Hub and Box Office
Fishers Gin Distillery, Beach Lodge, Crag Path, IP15 5BT
The brand new Fishers Gin Distillery will house our Hub and Box Office throughout the Festival. Situated next to the Brudenell Hotel and easily accessible from Crag Path, it will be open each day from 9.30am - until 15 minutes after the last show begins. The Festival Hub and Box Office will also be open on Monday 9th September from 10.00 - 16.30.
With a terrace overlooking Aldeburgh beach, the Hub will be the perfect place to relax between shows.A delicious menu of fresh food and hot and cold drinks will be available.

In 1887, to celebrate Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee, Aldeburgh Jubilee Hall was developed into “a performing arts venue for the people of Aldeburgh”. In 1948, the Jubilee Hall became the home of the first Aldeburgh Festival and has since been the venue for many significant performances providing a richly diverse programme of events.
The Jubilee Hall opens 15 minutes prior to each event's advertised start time. Drinks and snacks will be available.

Aldeburgh Cinema is one of the UK’s oldest independent cinemas and is approaching its 100th year in operation. Coffees, teas and alcoholic beverages are served as well as cinema snacks, with a secluded private garden that makes for the perfect sun trap. Box Office Opening Hours: Mon - Fri 10AM - 12PM.
The Cinema opens 15 minutes prior to each event's advertised start time.
Park Road, IP15 5EU
The Pumphouse, located on the edge of the Aldeburgh marshes, is run by Snape Maltings and plays host to a number of alternative music artists throughout the year and during the famous Aldeburgh Festival. Limited parking is available.
The Pumphouse opens 10 minutes prior to each event's advertised start time.
Victoria Road, IP15 5DU
Adjacent to the Aldeburgh Parish Church, the Church Hall is a hive of activity and events throughout the year. HighTide will be presenting a number of performances in the Church Hall.

Aldeburgh Beach Lookout
31 Crag Path, IP15 5BS
The Aldeburgh Beach Lookout is a tiny art temple by the sea. Isolated yet at the heart of cultural innovation, it is a magical and stimulating setting for artists to respond each in their own fascinating way. Use of the Aldeburgh Beach Lookout is kindly donated by Caroline Wiseman for the HighTide Festival.
We are thrilled that Amy Gwilliam will return after her 2018 Festival hit The Profit with a brand-new show .staybless, and will open 5-10 minutes prior to each performance.
The Cross Keys
Crabbe Street, IP15 5BN
The Cross Keys is a traditional pub in the centre of Aldeburgh which opens out onto Crag Path and the beautiful seafront. Dating back to 1540, the pub is glowing with history.
The Cross Keys pub will be playing host to a number of free late night HighTide Festival events, including intimate gigs and the HighTide Pub Quiz! These events are not ticketed. Food and drink available throughout the day and evening.
The Garage Gallery
(rear of) 152 High Street, IP15 5AQ
The Garage Gallery will host readings and work in progress performances throughout the Festival. The Garage Gallery will open 5 – 10 minutes before each event’s advertised start time.

From 14 – 15 September, HighTide Festival will be presenting a free exhibition related to our 2018 production of Songlines by Aldeburgh writer Tallulah Brown, including a virtual reality recording of the original production.
Blackheath House Woods
Blackheath, Friston, Saxmundham, IP17 1NX
Set in ancient woodlands overlooking the Alde estuary, the grounds of Blackheath provide the perfect setting for the site specific outdoor performance of The Last Woodwose. See their event page for directions and further information.
