HighTide Festival Aldeburgh 2017

A festival of live performance

The Eleventh Annual
HighTide Festival

September 2017 Aldeburgh, Suffolk

"This Suffolk festival is a vital showcase for new writing"

The Guardian

HighTide Festival is our annual festival of new plays on the gorgeous Suffolk Coast. Every year we present our latest productions as world premieres, surrounded by a programme of talks with world-class artists, play readings, comedy, cabaret and much more.

This year we are excited to be creating a new temporary theatre space called The Mix as part of the festival. It is a state-of-the-art, 260 seat theatre, and it will offer audiences a unique experience. With the support of Aldeburgh Town Council, Suffolk Coastal District Council and residents, we are excited to be able to present it on the Aldeburgh beach, situated in the heart of the town but crucially not taking up public space otherwise used for parking or recreation.
