HighTide

HighTide Festival is a unique platform from which undiscovered playwrights launch their careers. HighTide exists to develop an audience for contemporary theatre in the East of England, and the Festival is produced for our local audiences and itinerant national audiences.

Whilst the Festival remains a crucible in which writers can join the company, we intend for our productions to transfer beyond the HighTide Festival to wider national and international audiences. HighTide looks to sustain and revisit working relationships with the playwrights we champion, and by commissioning and producing their subsequent plays as standalone productions we aim to continue the relationship between our artists and audiences.
