Ditch in Previews

Last night Richard Twyman's production of Beth Steel's first play Ditch, began previews in The Old Vic Tunnels. Transferring directly from HighTide Festival 2010, this production has been radically expanded by HighTide's Head of Design takis to now feature a series of evocative installations which act as a pre-show, narratively linking the world of Ditch to The Old Vic Tunnels. The production, which has taken over six weeks to install by a team in excess of 70 designers and crew, is a continuation of HighTide's work in found spaces, started with Stovepipe in 2009.
