Muhmah
A new play by Jesse Weaver
A world premiere
Sourced, developed and produced for the 2009 HighTide Festival
May 1st - 10th 2009 Main House, The Cut
You wanna know a secret? When the two of you came out of me, your little hands were wrapped around each other’s throats. Choking each other. Feel up on your neck. Feel that? That’s Selene trying to kill you.
Halloween on Cape Cod. The twins Michael and Selene live with their mother. They are turning 30, and it’s a nasty world outside.
Muhmah is the startling début of Jesse Weaver; a hilarious, hideous and richly original piece of American Gothic that reveals that the devil you know can be worse than the devil you don’t.
