HighTide is deeply grateful for the ongoing support of a dedicated group of corporate partners, whose contributions help ensure HighTide’s financial stability and advance our mission of working with emerging artists to deliver artistic excellence. Currently, partners give HighTide an administrative home base, a dedicated London rehearsal studio, marketing and brand management support and a market research resource all as part of their dedication to corporate social responsibility.
In return, HighTide provides benefits ranging from one-to-one training and corporate seminars, based on the transferable skills in theatre technique, to gala events at our festival and west-end productions. HighTide is committed to working in direct partnership with companies to provide mutual benefit to clients, staff and audiences, if your company might be in interested in joining HighTide’s team as a corporate partner please contact Dean Stigwood.
Since summer 2010, Jo Hutchison International has been the driving force behind HighTide’s marketing initiatives and overall brand management. HighTide does not employ a full-time member of staff to look after marketing, so the advice and support of Jo and her team mean that we can rest assured by having an internationally renowned marketing firm delivering our brand messages to audiences.
Jo Hutchison International is a theatre marketing agency specialising in developing and consulting on campaigns for commercial theatre in the UK and around the world. With over 20 years experience marketing commercial theatre, Jo has worked on campaigns from David Pugh's original production of ART, Back Row's global hit Tap Dogs, Bill Kenwright's Blood Brothers and the Donmar Theatre - to the London launch of Wicked at the Apollo Theatre; Patrick Stewart's A Christmas Carol, the off West End and West End runs of Fat Pig and the West End transfer of The Mountaintop. Since forming JHI in January 2010, the company has worked on The Misanthrope (Comedy Theatre) starring Damian Lewis and Keira Knightley and Kristina by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus (Royal Albert Hall). Other projects include The Secret of Sherlock Holmes starring Peter Egan and Roger Daws (Duchess Theatre), Wilton's Vintage Christmas, British Studies Oxford 2011 and consultancy work on Piaf/Cocteau and Great Expectations. Ongoing work includes new foreign language productions of MAMMA MIA! in Denmark, South Africa, Brazil, France and Italy; and the continuing runs of the Australian, Spanish and Dutch Tours. For the MAMMA MIA! INTERNATIONAL TOUR, we are working in cities as diverse as Liverpool, Belgrade, Zurich, Cork, Glasgow, Karlstad, Leipzig, Oslo, Stockholm and Bergen.
In 2011 HighTide has partnered with leading market research firm Opinium to explore the current mindset of the public regarding the need for the arts in the UK. This partnership is timely and wholly unique in an austere period where we try to balance value for money with artistic innovation. Throughout the year we will be tracking the public’s responses to a series of statistically robust surveys to best understand how HighTide can shape and frame our positioning as a cutting edge hub of artistic excellence.
Opinium are always looking for new members of the public to take part in their surveys (and you get paid for it!), visit the Opinium website for information about joining their panelist zone.
